About Me
My writer side:
▪ My favorite topics are ones that matter most to
women and families: how to raise children, organize homes and lives, take care of pets, stay physically fit,
well and happy. I'm also quite fond of the personal essay.
▪ Having worked in a radio newsroom, I know
how to collect and digest information from innumerable sources and
condense it into hard copy fast.
▪ Time spent as an advertising
copywriter taught me how to deliver short but
snappy script that gets the point across.
▪ Never miss a deadline. In fact, I'm more likely to hand an assignment in early.
My personal side:
▪ Mother of a 13-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter.
▪ I work at a public library part-time
and occasionally substitute teach.
▪ More often than not, you'll find me with my
nose stuck in a book. Favorite authors include Anne Tyler, Anna
Quindlen, and Elizabeth Berg. Lately I have developed quite an affinity
for personal memoirs.
▪ I'm
a regular at the gym, taking spin class or logging miles on
the treadmill.
▪ Known far and wide for my apple pies.
